This grant competition is designed for recently tenured faculty at The Ohio State University who seek to establish an interdisciplinary research program and become core affiliates of the Mershon Center for International Security Studies. The program aims to foster innovative, cross-disciplinary research addressing international, national, or human security issues, and to build an engaged community of scholars contributing to the Center’s mission.
Funding can be used for a range of research and professional development activities, including interdisciplinary conference participation, organizing symposia or workshops, hosting speakers, post-publication book workshops, and training opportunities. Grantees are expected to contribute actively to the intellectual life of the Center and participate in its community and service activities.
