This competition supports recently tenured Ohio State University faculty who wish to develop new interdisciplinary research programs related to international, national, or human security and become core affiliates of the Mershon Center for International Security Studies. Grantees are expected to actively participate in the Center’s activities, help shape its mission, and contribute to the broader interdisciplinary conversation on security issues. The grant is designed to provide flexible support for research, professional development, and activities that foster engagement with the Mershon community.
