Description
The New Orleans Youth Climate Action Fund empowers youth ages 15–24 to design, implement, and lead urgent climate solutions in partnership with the City of New Orleans. The program aims to activate youth-led initiatives that address local climate challenges, such as energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, adaptation and nature-based solutions, and circular economy/waste reduction. Selected projects will receive funding, mentorship, and resources to ensure meaningful youth participation in shaping and advancing the city's climate resilience strategies. The initiative is intended to foster youth leadership, support equitable and sustainable community solutions, and integrate successful projects into longer-term city programs.
