--- ## Description The NGI TALER open call, funded by the European Commission and the Swiss State, supports the development and integration of privacy-preserving digital payment solutions at internet scale. The call focuses on advancing the GNU Taler system, an open-source platform enabling secure, anonymous payments for users while ensuring transparency for merchants. The program aims to facilitate micro-payments, lower transaction costs, and support alternative business models beyond advertising or subscriptions.
