--- ## Description This opportunity funds research and development projects that enhance privacy-preserving, transparent, and inclusive digital payment systems, building on the GNU Taler platform. The initiative aims to foster a trustworthy and open internet economy by supporting free and open-source tools, integrations, and infrastructure improvements. The program encourages projects that enable secure microtransactions with minimal overhead, benefiting users, merchants, financial authorities, and marginalized populations.
