Key Information: Foreign organizations and non-U.S. components are not eligible.
This funding opportunity supports UG3/UH3 phased, cooperative agreement research projects focused on evaluating, implementing, and/or testing population-based interventions that integrate services, systems, or values to improve oral health outcomes. The program emphasizes leveraging cross-sector partnerships within communities to address social and chronic disease risk factors and barriers contributing to oral disease burdens. Funded projects will join the Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) consortium, Advancing Data and Practice Transformation (ADAPT), and will collaborate with a separately funded Community Engagement Evaluation and Data Coordination hub (CEED). Grantees will also receive consultative support from the NIH Community Engagement Alliance Consultative Resource (CEACR) and participate in the Science Collaborative for Health and Artificial Intelligence Reduction of Errors (SCHARE) platform, with the overarching goal of promoting data use and transformational community engagement to optimize oral health for all populations across the lifespan.
