    Description

This opportunity funds a Data Coordinating Center (DCC) to support investigator-initiated, multi-site clinical trials—including efficacy, comparative effectiveness, pragmatic, and/or implementation research trials—aligned with the research mission of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The DCC is expected to provide comprehensive project coordination, administration, data management, and biostatistical support. Innovative trial designs (platform, adaptive, Bayesian) are encouraged, and projects can address therapeutic, behavioral, or prevention strategies. The DCC will also work closely with a collaborating Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) to implement the clinical trial’s community engagement plan. Both DCC and CCC applications must be submitted in parallel for consideration.
