Description
This opportunity supports innovative, exploratory, or developmental (R21) research projects that advance understanding or treatment of Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS) and/or Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), both rare autoimmune neuropathies affecting peripheral nerves. Projects should focus on disease mechanisms, susceptibility factors, model systems, biomarkers, or treatments, with the goal of accelerating progress toward prevention, diagnosis, or therapy. Clinical trials are not permitted under this funding announcement.
