This NIH R25 program, administered by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), funds research education and mentoring activities designed to recruit and retain clinician-scientists in biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research relevant to NIDCD’s mission (hearing, balance, taste, smell, voice, speech, and language). The program supports hands-on research experiences and the development of mentoring networks for clinicians at various career stages, including graduate students, postdoctorates, and early-to-mid career faculty. The goal is to increase the pipeline and success of clinician-scientists in NIDCD research areas. Clinical trials are not permitted under this funding opportunity.
