Funder: National Institutes of Health
Due Dates: April 4, 2025 | October 3, 2025 | December 9, 2025 (final application deadline)
Funding Amounts: Direct costs up to $150,000 per year, for up to 2 years; estimated total program funding $150,000; ~3 awards expected
Summary: Supports revision applications from active NCI P50 specialized centers to integrate and validate novel technologies developed through the NCI IMAT program, accelerating cancer research.
Key Information: Only current NCI P50 awardees with at least one year remaining on their parent grant are eligible.
This opportunity invites revision applications from currently funded NCI P50 specialized centers to expand or accelerate their original research by incorporating a new technical approach or device developed through the NCI Innovative Molecular Analysis Technologies (IMAT) program. The aim is to independently validate these emerging technologies and speed their adoption in cancer research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific discovery. Projects must clearly demonstrate how integrating the IMAT-supported technology will enhance the parent study.
