The program aims to stimulate technological innovation, meet federal R&D needs, and increase private sector commercialization of innovations derived from federal R&D.
Phase II focuses on research and development or prototype development, building on the feasibility work completed in Phase I. Projects should align with NIST’s mission areas, which include advanced manufacturing, materials science, cybersecurity, communications technology, measurement science, and more.
