Description
The Nixa Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), supports institutions and projects providing vital community services in the Nixa area. Through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership, the program aims to improve local quality of life and help community leaders address important needs.
The foundation gives additional attention to projects offering innovative solutions to existing and emerging community needs and encouraging collaboration between local organizations. Preferred areas of support are culture, economic development, education, environment, family, and health and wellness, but requests need not be limited to these interests. A board of directors selected for their knowledge of the area makes grant decisions.
