    Description

    This program provides funding for full-time honours, master’s, and doctoral students at South African public universities, supporting research in Science, Engineering, Technology, Social Sciences, and Humanities. The scheme is designed to foster the next generation of researchers by prioritizing equity, transformation, and alignment with national research priorities. Funding is awarded at either Full Cost of Study (FCS) or Partial Cost of Study (PCS) based on academic merit, financial need, and transformation objectives. International students are eligible for master’s and doctoral funding (PCS only).
