The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Long Range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) invites proposals for basic and applied research that advance scientific knowledge and technology relevant to the Navy and Marine Corps. This BAA covers a wide spectrum of research areas, including but not limited to materials science, advanced electronics, autonomy, ocean and atmospheric sciences, cyber security, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, directed energy, and advanced materials. The program is designed to support innovative research that addresses current and future operational needs of naval forces. White papers may be submitted at any time during the open period; full proposals are by invitation only, based on the merit and relevance of the white paper submission.
