Faculty Micro Grants, offered by the Havey Institute for Global Health at Northwestern University, provide up to $2,500 per year to full-time Northwestern faculty who are currently mentoring medical students in the Area of Scholarly Concentration (AOSC) program. These grants are designed to support modest expenses such as travel to international partner sites, basic study supplies, software essential to research, and IRB fees, enabling faculty to develop and oversee global health research projects that are amenable to student involvement. Priority is given to projects with significant research activity in partner countries. The grants are not intended for long-term research projects or for activities already funded by other mechanisms.
