The Decision, Risk and Management Sciences (DRMS) program funds scientific research that enhances understanding of decision making at multiple levels—individuals, groups, organizations, and society. Supported research must be grounded in the social and behavioral sciences, advancing both theoretical knowledge and addressing significant scientific or societal issues with broad impacts. The program welcomes disciplinary and interdisciplinary projects, doctoral dissertation research improvement grants (DDRIGs), and conferences in areas such as judgment and decision making, decision analysis and aids, risk analysis and communication, societal and public-policy decision making, and management science and organizational design.
