Description
This opportunity funds accredited U.S. schools of nursing to establish or continue a Nurse Faculty Loan Program (NFLP) that provides low-interest loans to students pursuing advanced nursing degrees with the intent to become nurse faculty. Graduates who serve as full-time faculty at accredited nursing schools (including APRNs serving as full-time preceptors in academic-practice partnerships) may have up to 85% of their loan principal and interest canceled over four years of qualifying employment. The program aims to address the critical shortage of nursing faculty and support the development of future nurse educators.
