The Oakley Center Fellows program at Williams College provides faculty on leave with a supportive, stimulating environment to pursue advanced research in the humanities and social sciences. Fellows receive dedicated office space at the Oakley Center and are expected to engage in a weekly lunchtime forum to share and discuss work-in-progress. The program encourages interdisciplinary projects and designates two fellows each year as Herbert H. Lehman Fellows for research excellence in political leadership, public service, or the arts, with additional funding.
