Description
The Oakley Center Fellows program at Williams College provides faculty on leave with a supportive, stimulating environment to pursue advanced research in the humanities and social sciences. Fellows receive dedicated office space at the Oakley Center and are expected to engage in a weekly lunchtime forum to share and discuss work-in-progress. The program encourages interdisciplinary projects and designates two fellows each year as Herbert H. Lehman Fellows for research excellence in political leadership, public service, or the arts, with additional funding. The fellowship is designed to foster intellectual exchange and collaboration among scholars.
