Description
This funding opportunity from the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) aims to support communities in developing coordinated, comprehensive, community-based approaches to assist children and families exposed to violence (CEV). The goal is to build resilience, restore safety, heal social and emotional wounds, and prevent future violence and delinquency.
Funds may be used to:
- Develop or enhance direct support services for children exposed to violence to reduce the adverse impacts on youth, families, and communities.
- Help family-serving organizations better recognize and assist families at risk of exposure to violence.
- Support multidisciplinary or coalition-building efforts to improve community responses to children exposed to violence.
