The Open World Program offers a fully funded, 10-day professional exchange in the United States for emerging leaders from Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. Funded by the U.S. Congress and administered by the Congressional Office for International Leadership, the program aims to foster mutual understanding and collaboration between U.S. professionals and international delegates. Participants engage in immersive experiences focused on accountable governance, NGO development, public health, economic development, the environment, and the rule of law. Delegates begin in Washington, D.C. and then travel to communities across the U.S., staying with host families and meeting with their professional counterparts.
