    Description

This opportunity, offered by the U.S. Mission to Bangladesh, seeks a qualified organization to manage and operate the Edward M. Kennedy (EMK) Center for Public Service in Dhaka. The EMK Center is a flagship American Space promoting U.S. foreign policy, economic, and cultural objectives by engaging Bangladeshi youth, professionals, and U.S. exchange alumni in impactful programs. The selected recipient will be responsible for supervising local staff, delivering EducationUSA services, designing and implementing skills-building programs (including STEM, entrepreneurship, debate, digital media), maintaining technology and facilities, and executing a dynamic calendar of in-person and virtual events that foster U.S.–Bangladesh ties.

The cooperative agreement emphasizes close partnership with the U.S. Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section. The EMK Center also serves as a platform for U.S. government sections and agencies to advance commercial and educational interests, counter disinformation, and promote American values.
