--- ## Description This Horizon Europe call funds research and innovation projects that deliver measurable reductions in whole life carbon emissions and boost the uptake of carbon removals in buildings. Projects should focus on integrating circularity principles into construction and renovation, developing robust benchmarks for whole life carbon emissions, and advancing innovative combinations of construction products and technical building systems for optimal environmental performance. Solutions must be validated in at least three countries with differing climates and building stock, and should contribute to European standards and the Built4People partnership objectives. Involvement of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) is encouraged to add value in circular design and experimental validation.
