Summary: Supports projects that interpret, preserve, and protect the cultural and natural resources of Oregon’s historic trails.
This grant supports interpretive, educational, and economic projects or programs that preserve and protect the cultural and natural resources of Oregon’s historic trails. Funding may also be used for marketing, education, advocacy, and research activities related to these trails. An advisory committee with expertise in Oregon’s historic trails reviews applications and recommends awards to the Oregon Community Foundation board. Projects must be connected to one or more of the 16 historic trails recognized by the state legislature, including the Oregon, Applegate, and Lewis & Clark National Historic Trails.
