The Organizational Effectiveness program of the Richard King Mellon Foundation is designed to help nonprofit and public sector organizations strengthen their internal capacity to achieve strategic priorities and adapt to complex challenges. The program addresses chronic underinvestment in organizational infrastructure by supporting four key areas: Leadership and Governance, Human Capital Management, Strategy and Learning, and Communications. Funding is intended to build high-performing leadership, attract and retain talent, foster cultures of learning and impact measurement, and enhance organizational storytelling and advocacy. The ultimate goal is to empower partners to pursue ambitious goals and respond effectively to evolving needs.
