The Pulitzer Center’s Our Work/Environment Reporting Grants provide financial support for ambitious journalism projects that explore the intersection of climate change and labor. The initiative seeks to illuminate how rising temperatures, extreme weather, and climate-related disruptions affect workers, labor rights, livelihoods, and entire industries—from manufacturing to agriculture to logistics. Projects may investigate workplace adaptation, supply chain transparency, sustainability solutions, and the real-world impacts of climate risks on vulnerable populations. The Center encourages proposals that use innovative formats (print, digital, audio, video, data-driven journalism) and reach diverse audiences, especially in Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America, though there is no geographic restriction.
