The Outreach and Restoration Grant Program, administered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and local governments, funds projects across Maryland that advance public knowledge, change behaviors, and engage communities in the restoration of natural resources and local green spaces. The program offers four tracks: Outreach/Knowledge Building, Behavior Change, Restoration, and combined Outreach and Restoration projects. Supported activities include stormwater management, stream and wetland restoration, public education, environmental outreach, and community science. Projects are encouraged to address environmental health disparities and support underrepresented or underserved communities. Funding partners include several Maryland counties and municipalities, each with specific geographic and thematic priorities.
