This program provides substantial funding to support Indian Tribal governments, authorized designees, and Tribal consortia in developing and enhancing effective strategies to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and stalking within Tribal communities. The program aims to improve victim safety, strengthen justice interventions, enhance victim services, and promote community-based prevention and education initiatives. Funding is available through two tracks: (1) non-competitive continuation for current grantees and (2) the Strengthening Tribal Advocacy Responses Track (START) for Tribal governments that have never or not recently received funding under this program.
