Description
The Owensville Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), offers this program to improve quality of life for individuals in the Owensville area. Its flexible approach to community grantmaking supports responses to important local needs as they arise, rather than limiting funding to a single issue or project category.
The program is supported by charitable donors who establish unrestricted or field-of-interest funds, along with dollars raised by the Owensville Area Community Foundation. Thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership guide the foundation’s work. A Board of Directors selected for its knowledge of the area governs the foundation, and its grant committee makes grant decisions.
