Summary: Funds large-scale, high-resolution proteoform profiling in brain and biofluids to drive biomarker discovery and open data sharing for Parkinson's research.
Key Information: All research outputs must comply with MJFF's Open Science Policy for open and accessible data sharing.
This program supports research to generate large-scale, high-resolution proteoform datasets from Parkinson's disease-relevant brain regions and matched biofluids. The aim is to advance biomarker discovery and enable the development of clinically meaningful, fluid-based biomarkers for Parkinson's disease. The program offers two complementary funding tracks:
Awardees will be provided with matched brain and biofluid samples. All research outputs, including data, code, and publications, must adhere to the foundation's Open Science Policy, ensuring open and accessible sharing.
