This opportunity supports a leading expert unit or consortium to partner with Research England as national knowledge exchange (KE) metrics advisors. The selected partner will lead the design and delivery of next-generation KE data, metrics, and insights, focusing on areas critical to national policy. The role includes developing innovative outputs, transforming KE datasets and measurement, creating novel metrics and analytical tools (including leveraging AI), and providing actionable insights to drive best practice and inform policy and funding decisions across the UK higher education sector. The initiative aims to strengthen the UK’s KE ecosystem, enhance the national evidence base, and ensure that KE data remains robust, transparent, and fit for purpose.
