Description
This opportunity sought a partner to co-create and implement a four-year, $16 million trade facilitation project in Tanzania under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Threshold Program. The project aimed to address the high cost of international trade by tackling inefficient trade facilitation, persistent non-tariff barriers, and weak trade governance institutions. Activities were to include policy and regulatory reform, digitization of business approvals, capacity building for standards and conformity assessment, and strengthening public-private and civil society engagement in trade policy. The partnership would be developed and implemented collaboratively with MCC, the Government of Tanzania, and other stakeholders.
