Summary: Pilot funding for innovative, clinically-oriented research to improve care delivery for people with Parkinson's disease.
The Paul Oreffice Innovations in Care Awards provide pilot funding for clinically-oriented research projects that explore and test new models of care delivery for people living with Parkinson's disease (PD). The program aims to identify, support, and build evidence for innovative practices that can enhance health outcomes and quality of life for individuals with PD. Funded projects are expected to generate pilot data that could lead to further funding and inform broader standards of care. Recipients may also have the opportunity to present their work at a Parkinson’s Foundation conference during the award period.
