This opportunity funds the establishment of the Pax Silica Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistance Project, a major initiative to strengthen global AI supply chain security. The project aims to create a trusted supply chain credentialing and provenance platform for partner countries and economies, establishing a “Silicon Highway” — a digital-physical corridor that accelerates logistics and compliance operations using cryptographic cargo verification, AI-driven risk assessment, and expedited processing early in the supply chain. The project is supported by foreign assistance from the Pax Fund and seeks to secure the AI supply chain in partner regions. The Department of State retains rights to intangible property developed under this award.
