Key Information: Requires multi-topic alignment, milestone-driven research, and an advisory board with patient advocate.
This opportunity supports the translational development and/or early-phase clinical trials of broadly applicable platform clinical technologies that address urgent and complex medical needs relevant to two congressionally directed FY26 Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) topic areas. The goal is to advance platform products—defined as tangible or knowledge products with potential to improve clinical care for multiple conditions—aligned with PRMRP strategic goals and the health needs of military Service Members, Veterans, and their families. Projects may include both preclinical and early clinical work, must be milestone-driven, and require an external advisory board with patient advocate participation.
