    Description

The Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP), managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) within the Defense Health Agency, funds high-impact, innovative research projects that address congressionally mandated medical and health topic areas relevant to military health. The program encompasses multiple award mechanisms, including clinical trials, exploratory and hypothesis-driven studies, applied health research, technology/therapeutic development, and platform development. PRMRP seeks to advance scientific knowledge and deliver solutions that directly benefit U.S. military service members, veterans, and their families. Projects must address at least one of the annually defined topic areas, which for FY26 include a wide range of diseases, conditions, and health challenges of military relevance.
