Description
Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) is a statewide initiative that regrants Pennsylvania Council on the Arts funds through regional partners to support a wide range of local and community arts activities. The program aims to expand access to the arts, particularly in underserved communities, encourage local decision-making in arts funding, increase awareness and advocacy for public arts support, and enable broader assistance to Pennsylvania’s creative sector. The Community Giving Foundation serves as the Region 3 Partner, focusing on Columbia, Lycoming, Sullivan, Bradford, and Tioga Counties.
PPA operates in all 67 Pennsylvania counties and funds projects that make arts programs available to communities that may have been previously underserved, supporting a broad array of arts activities developed in local settings. The program is designed to empower communities to shape their own arts programming and increase the visibility and impact of the arts at the local level.
