--- ## Description Pfizer's Independent Medical Education grant program invites organizations to propose original, evidence-based educational activities aimed at healthcare professionals managing adult patients with migraine. The initiative seeks to address educational gaps, enhance awareness, diagnosis, treatment, and management of migraine, and ultimately improve patient outcomes across diverse care settings and populations. Projects should demonstrate innovation, measurable outcomes, and plans for broad dissemination. This is a competitive, independent grant program; Pfizer is not involved in project development or implementation. --- ## Due Dates - May 8, 2026: Submission deadline (full application) — applications due by 23:59 Eastern Standard Time Anticipated milestones: - Grant award notification: June 2026 - Project start date: August 2026 - Maximum project duration: 2 years (projects should be completed by August 2028) --- ## Funding Amount - Individual project requests up to $200,000 will be considered. - The estimated total available budget for this RFP is $1,000,000. - Award amounts may include direct costs and institutional overhead (capped at 28%). - Maximum project length is 2 years. --- ## Eligibility - **Geographic Scope:** United States - **Eligible Applicants:** - Medical, dental, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools - Healthcare institutions (large or small) - Professional organizations/medical societies - Medical education companies - Other entities with a mission related to healthcare professional education/improvement - **Restrictions:** - Only organizations are eligible; individuals and unaffiliated medical practice groups are not eligible. - The project lead must be an employee or contractor of the applicant organization. - Organizations must be able to directly receive funding from Pfizer Inc. - For projects offering continuing education credit, the applicant must be accredited. - **Not Supported:** Clinical research projects or projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents. --- ## Application Process - Applications must be submitted online via [www.cybergrants.com/pfizer/knowledge](http://www.cybergrants.com/pfizer/knowledge). - Required steps: - Sign in or create an account on the CyberGrants portal. - Start a new "Knowledge Gap Application." - Select "Yes" for "Competitive Grant?" - Choose "Migraine" as the Primary Area of Interest. - Select "2026 IM US Migraine IME" as the Competitive Grant Program Name. - Upload a proposal (maximum 15 pages, excluding references) addressing specified sections (goals, needs assessment, project design, innovation, evaluation, dissemination, timeline, organization details, budget). - Proposals must be submitted by May 8, 2026, 23:59 EST.
