Description
This award honors an outstanding member of the American Physiological Society (APS) for original, lifetime achievements in physiology. The recipient is invited to deliver a keynote "Physiology in Perspective" lecture at the American Physiological Summit, addressing Cannon's concept of "The Wisdom of the Body." The lecture may be considered for publication in a Society journal. The awardee also participates in special events at the Summit and selects 10 posters from submitted abstracts in their research field for poster awards.
