This program, a collaboration between the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI), the Alzheimer’s Association, and Alzheimer’s Society, funds small-scale pilot projects or studies led by emerging leaders in brain health, aging, and dementia. The awards aim to foster leadership development and advance innovative projects that improve brain health outcomes, particularly in lower and middle-income communities. Both research and non-research approaches are supported, including social change initiatives, policy development, care evaluation, diagnostics, and interventions for vulnerable populations. Projects must align with at least one long-term impact goal: reducing stigma, promoting equity, improving care, influencing policy, or generating new knowledge in brain health and dementia prevention.
