The Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency at Mayo Clinic’s Arizona campus is a six-year, accredited training program for medical school graduates committed to a career in plastic surgery. The curriculum is designed to provide broad foundational training in surgery during the first two years, followed by in-depth, hands-on experience in all facets of plastic surgery—including aesthetic, microsurgery, reconstruction, pediatric, craniofacial, and hand surgery—over the remaining four years. The program incorporates dedicated research rotations, advanced surgical anatomy training, and unique experiences such as neurosurgery and burn care. Residents benefit from a high faculty-to-resident ratio, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and opportunities for global mission trips. Completion of the program prepares graduates for board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
