The POISE Community Impact Grants provide one-year grants to Black-led, Black-serving nonprofit organizations in the Pittsburgh region. These grants are designed to empower and promote self-sufficiency in the Black community, aligning with POISE Foundation’s mission of fostering self-sustaining practices through strategic leadership, collective giving, grantmaking, and advocacy. Priority is given to programs focused on community and economic development, education, entrepreneurial activities, supporting young ladies, and strengthening Black families. Funded projects are expected to build capacity, promote civic participation, encourage economic and social advancement, and reinforce the well-being and resilience of Black communities.
