Funding Amounts: Up to $1.3M in direct costs per Center over 4 years; additional $50K/year per optional focus area (max $150K/year); indirect costs capped at 40%.

Description
This opportunity funds statewide HIV Policy Research Centers in California, supporting multi-disciplinary teams that partner with academic researchers, community-based organizations, health departments, and policymakers. The Centers are tasked with conducting policy-relevant HIV and syndemic research, producing and disseminating findings that directly inform policy and address the needs of California policymakers, stakeholder groups, and residents. The initiative is designed to foster cross-sector collaboration, generate timely evidence for policy action, and strengthen the infrastructure for HIV policy research in California.
