The Louisville Institute's Postdoctoral Fellowship provides early career theological educators with a two-year, full-time placement as a visiting scholar at a graduate theological school, university, college, or educational research organization in the United States or Canada. As part of the Vocation of the Theological Educator (VTE) Initiative, fellows receive vocational and professional formation, participate in regular cohort gatherings, and are mentored by faculty and pastoral peers. The program aims to foster teacher-scholars who are committed to both academic excellence and the vitality of faith communities, preparing them for future roles in theological education and leadership.
