The Louisville Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship provides early career theological educators with a two-year placement as a visiting scholar at a graduate theological school, college, university, or education and research organization in the United States or Canada. Fellows participate in the Vocation of the Theological Educator (VTE) Initiative, which includes intentional professional formation, teaching experience, pastoral and faculty peer mentoring, and cohort-based gatherings focused on vocation, pedagogy, and leadership. The program aims to nurture scholars exploring a calling to theological education for future pastoral leaders, connecting academic work to the life of the church and broader religious communities.
