The Louisville Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship supports early career theological educators through a two-year placement as a visiting scholar at a graduate theological school, college, university, or education and research organization in the United States or Canada. Fellows participate in the Vocation of the Theological Educator (VTE) Initiative, engaging in professional formation, teaching, and regular cohort gatherings with pastoral and faculty mentors. The program is designed for scholars exploring a vocation in theological education and offers resources, mentoring, and peer learning opportunities. The fellowship aims to foster leadership, vocational discernment, and innovative scholarship that bridges the academy and the church.
