    Description

    The Einstein Papers Project at Caltech invites applications for postdoctoral scholar research associates specializing in the history or philosophy of 20th century physics. Appointees will contribute to the scholarly edition of The Collected Papers of Albert Einstein, engaging in historical research, preparation of textual and explanatory annotation, verification of manuscript transcriptions, and the study of Einstein’s private and professional papers and correspondence. The project particularly welcomes candidates interested in general relativity, cosmology, unified field theory, and the application of computational or digital humanities methods to historical scientific research. Scholars will work both independently and collaboratively within an international team.
