Description

The Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences at the California Institute of Technology offers a two-year Postdoctoral Scholar Teaching Fellowship in Visual Culture. This opportunity is designed for early-career scholars whose research explores the intersection of visual culture and the environment. Fellows will be part of a vibrant academic community, engaging in both independent research and undergraduate teaching responsibilities. The program particularly welcomes applicants whose work would benefit from access to resources at The Huntington Library and encourages applications from a range of disciplines, including Art History, Architectural History, Cinema and Media Studies, Environmental Studies, Literature, and History.

Fellows are expected to teach two undergraduate courses in the first year and three in the second, contributing to Caltech’s curriculum and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
