--- ## Description The Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) Partnership Grants program provides discretionary funding to partnerships that aim to increase the number of low-income students, including those with disabilities, who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education. The program supports multi-year projects offering academic support, college awareness activities, and other services to improve secondary school completion and college readiness for eligible students. --- ## Due Dates - Application Deadline: June 25, 2025 (11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time) - Intergovernmental Review Deadline: August 25, 2025 *Applications submitted prior to June 11, 2025 will not be considered. Applicants who previously submitted must resubmit by June 25, 2025 for review.* --- ## Funding Amount - **Estimated Total Program Funding:** $36,500,000 - **Award Ceiling:** $5,000,000 per project - **Expected Number of Awards:** Approximately 29 All awards are subject to the availability of funds and the Department's discretion. Cost sharing or matching is required. --- ## Eligibility - **Eligible Applicants:** - Partnerships consisting of: - At least one degree-granting institution of higher education (IHE) - At least one local educational agency (LEA) - Partnerships must include at least two additional community organizations or entities, such as: - Businesses - Professional organizations - State agencies - Institutions sponsoring programs under the Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program - Other public or private agencies or organizations - **Additional Requirements:** - Partnerships must develop a group application agreement detailing each member’s activities and commitments, binding all members to the statements and assurances in the application.
