Description
This award supports practice-based clinical research that evaluates the translation of evidence into best clinical practice, including health services, quality of care, implementation of therapies, physician performance, or patient adherence. The program is designed to foster training opportunities for neurologists, encourage early-career investigators, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusiveness in neurology research. Projects may encompass patient-oriented research, health services, epidemiologic or behavioral studies, clinical trials, studies of disease mechanisms, technology development, and outcomes research relevant to neurological disease.
