This opportunity, administered by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), aims to enhance the immediate and long-term safety, wellness, and resilience of law enforcement professionals nationwide. Funding supports the identification and addressing of officer safety and wellness needs, the delivery of no-cost training and resources, and the provision of customized technical assistance to law enforcement officers and their agencies. The VALOR Initiative equips officers, deputies, and troopers with skills and tools to improve their safety and wellness, enabling them to better serve their communities.
