--- ## Description The Prevention Grants program from the ALS Association aims to advance research that can prevent or delay the onset of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The program supports translational science, interventions, and tools focused on understanding ALS causes, identifying risk factors, and developing validated strategies to predict and intervene before symptoms emerge. The overarching goal is to enable actionable steps to reduce ALS risk and ultimately prevent the disease and its associated harms.
