--- ## Description This program funds on-the-ground restoration activities that improve water quality, enhance communities, support Prince George’s County’s Climate Action Plan, and engage local residents in stewardship of rivers and streams. Eligible projects include stormwater management, tree canopy outreach and preservation, community engagement, illegal dumping data analysis, and supplemental support. The program prioritizes sustainability, cost-effectiveness, community benefit, and inclusion of underrepresented groups. Projects must take place in Prince George’s County, Maryland, excluding the City of Bowie. --- ## Due Dates - Applications are due by **December 12, 2024, at 4:00pm EST**. - Late applications will not be accepted, and the online system closes automatically at the deadline. - The program is **suspended for FY26** (July 1, 2025 – June 31, 2026), but all FY25 awards and projects continue as planned. --- ## Funding Amount - **Total anticipated funding for FY25:** ~$2.16 million. - **Track 1: Water Quality Implementation:** $50,000–$150,000 - **Track 2: Tree Canopy Outreach, Education, Maintenance, Preservation:** $50,000–$300,000 - **Track 3: Community Awareness and Engagement:** $10,000–$60,000 - **Track 4: Illegal Dumping Data Analysis and Forensics:** $10,000–$50,000 - **Track 5: Additional Project Support Fund:** $500–$5,000 (must be combined with another track) - Projects >$100,000: up to 2 years;
