The Professional Equity Project (PEP) is an initiative of the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) designed to support teachers of writing—especially those with part-time or adjunct status—at two-year and four-year colleges, universities, and independent scholars. The grant provides recipients with funding to attend the CCCC Annual Convention, fostering professional development, expanding access to the field, and increasing the presence of contingent faculty at the event. Departments and institutions are encouraged to partner in supporting faculty development through this program.
